BEING JUDGED FOR BEING IN PYJAMAS
There are people out there who will judge you for being in pajamas all day, and you will get looks of disgust from people. It will stop you in your tracks. Bear in mind that they do not know or understand what you are going through at that moment. They are not aware of how fibro affects your body. Your pajamas are giving you what you need, that is comfort.
They do not understand how hard it is to do daily things and how much energy it takes to do different things. Most of us feel like we were at the Olympic sports arena or a quarterback pulling a Hail Mary in the fourth quarter.
They do not realize it does not matter if you look fine on the outside, it is what is going on on the inside, the inside is where people would get fright if they could see it for themselves, they can’t know how you’re hurting and how your heart has to work double time all the time with everything you have to do.
They do not see how tired you are all the time they will never see that. People will always assume you’re not trying based on your appearance, but they do not realize how hard you try. The days you are in your pajamas are days you are barely functional.
Let them think what they want, as you’re doing what your body needs. Resting and restoring your body, people need to think twice before they judge you. They do not know what it is you are dealing with, how you are feeling, and how hard you are trying every day.
